If you are looking for inspiration and wedding planning ideas for winter this beautiful Washington Crossing Inn wedding will be a great one to look through. Lauren and Jake got married in January so they chose the perfect winter color palette – red, white and gray. Lauren’s flowers, Jake’s boutonniere and tie were red. Lauren’s bridesmaids joined them in on filling in even more gorgeous reds in the group. The bridesmaids wore stunning velvet dresses and looked so perfect for a winter wedding day! As the wedding was so soon after Christmas, most holiday decoration elements were still up too and it all added to the beauty and festivity of the day. Both at Lauren’s grandma’s home where the girls were getting ready, and at the church, the Christmas decor and lights added more magic to the day. I think planning your wedding day around holidays always helps with picking the theme and color palette of the wedding as well as saving money on decorations as there is already built in decor that perfectly fits your day. At Washington Crossing Inn there also were a lot of gorgeous Christmas and winter decor that perfectly tied in with the wedding theme. As you stroll through the photos you will see a lot of very traditional elements that most weddings have. Seeded eucalyptus, golden shimmery candles, beautiful lanterns were all there creating the magical festive atmosphere. And as I already mentioned the holiday lights added even more charm to the night. I hope you enjoy looking through the photos and finding elements to use in your wedding!

I simply loved how holiday decorationgs tied in and added to the wedding.
I thought this moments of the bridesmaids recording the 1st look was so sweet! So many good memories captured!
How stunning is this bridal party ?!
I am not sure about the flavors of the wedding cake but I love the idea of different flavors for different layers of cake so much. Everyone has their preferences and taste and of course, chocolate or vanilla would probably please anyone, it’s so great to see that couples are now incorporating their favorite flavors in addition to serving their guests a variety of options too.
Lauren and Jake didn’t have an official 1st bride and groom dance but it was so sweet to see them dancing among their family and friends <3!
Thank you so much for letting me a part of your special day! God bless you!!!
