Jenna and Dan live in Oregon and planning their Washington Crossing Inn wedding long distance. And despite this adventure turning into a destination wedding for them, it was a very well known and familiar venue for me! I have photographed a few weddings at Washington Crossing Inn and every single time I am so so impressed by how sweet and caring the staff is and the day always turns out to be so wonderful full of beautiful wedding moments, charming atmosphere and delicious food that this lovely wedding venue serves in such abundance! I am also extra excited for you to see these Washington Crossing Inn wedding photos because Jenna and Dan’s wedding was the first one ever since the venue has remodeled and revealed their new outdoor space!!! I was obviously there before the remodel and it has always been such a pretty gardeny charming space! But now!! WOW! It’s BEAUTIFUL!!! When you see the photos you will fall in love with it just like I did! The space for everyone to enjoy the fresh air, the last moments of sunset, and freedom for the kids to run around and play lawn games! It somehow reminded me of one of the high end California wedding venues! I loved that day so much!!
Jenna and Dan did such an amazing job planning everything too!!! They both love chemistry and Jenna love’s bees! You will see the threads of those uniquely beautiful elements all through the wedding details. From Jenna’s bee earrings, tiny golden bees on her veil and crystals in her hair to the most intricate and unique crystal formations with chemical formulas next to it as centerpieces! And the wedding cake!!! You will totally be impressed just like I was!
As for logistics of the day, both Jenna and Dan got ready with their parties at the Wedgwood Inn in New Hope, PA. It was such a charming Victorian home with so much character! After everyone was ready we headed out to the Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve for Jenna and Dan to get married! They got married in a private ceremony with just immediate family present. It was so beautiful! AND as their exit they have asked their families to throw lavender seeds at them and I simply loved that idea!! Biodegradable, smells and looks delicious and fit their wedding theme so well!!! We then grabbed some bridal party, family and bride and groom photos and headed out to Washington Crossing Inn to celebrate with the whole big group of family and friends! The evening was SO SO lovely! The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone enjoyed the evening so much! I hope you can feel the beauty of the day through these few photos!
