Bride’s Getting Ready Photos at Homewood Suites by Hilton Newtown – Langhorne, PA
A couple of weeks ago your servant Philadelphia Wedding photographer had an immense honor to be a part of Katheryn and Eddie Northampton Valley Country Club wedding! After a few years of dating the have finally tied the knot and everyone was more than excited for them! It was far from perfect planning and the day didn’t go as expected. Their original wedding photographer got a very serious sickness right before their wedding and I got all of their wedding information only a day before an actual event. Talk about wedding stress! The torrential rain came down right for the time of the wedding. The flower girls’ dresses didn’t fit as perfect as they were supposed to. Things just didn’t go as planned. But it was a perfect for them (and me 🙂. They got married and that’s what was the most important! Beautiful emotions, beautiful people an beautiful event! I am so honored I was able to serve them that day!
The day started of with me coming to the hotel where the girls were getting ready. The ladies were getting ready at Homewood Suites by Hilton Newtown – Langhorne, PA – a cozy and light filled room. Last touches of nail polish and make up were made and everyone started getting into their gorgeous wedding dresses.
Kathryn’s wedding dress was very delicate and so beautiful with lots of lace and some beading. It had shoulder straps which made it so comfortable for her to navigate through a rainy wedding day and a 4 year old boy who wanted lots of hugs.
Both Kathryn’s engagement ring and their wedding bands were gorgeous. The engagement ring was almost in the shape of the round flower with 6 diamond petals. And Eddie’s ring was super sleek black and rose gold combination – manly and stylish at the same time.
And it was so interesting to me how many selfies there were. I didn’t notice it until I was going through the photos for the blog post. and then I realized that I should share them just for the sun of it 🙂
The puffy flower girls’ dresses were simply adorable. Champagne belts and lots of white ruffles in the skirts made the girls looks very sophisticated and luxurious at the same time. They totally looked like princesses.
And after a little bit of fun, getting ready continued and the flower girls were dressed. The bridesmaids were ready and only the bride needed to start getting into her gorgeous dress.
There were some struggles on the flower girl part but as an adult I found it super cute and amusing. And those underskirts were super fluffy and adorable anyways! And then that thing happened that Kathryn dreaded the most. The rain! She dreamed about outside wedding and beautiful natural light. But that’s not what was in store for their big day. The girls were watching the rain hoping it would go away but it kept raining. And I loved this detail shot of Kathryn’s diamond engagement ring and her dad’s boutonniere. She was ready to put it on him any minute now. And look at these adorable fluffy skirts! I was simply in love with how the flower girls looked. And now it was time for Kathryn to start getting ready and get into her dress. The bridesmaids assisted her and buttoned up her beautiful dress pretty quickly. And Kathryn’s daughters were totally in awe seeing their mom becoming so beautiful! And some more gorgeous ruffles. I am totally not indifferent to this beauty!
Kathryn had her parents wedding rings as her ‘something old’. She tied them to her wedding bouquet and of course had them with her all throughout the day.
And look at this gorgeous bride! All beaming from happiness despise a rainy day! And these beautiful your ladies were ready to walk down the isle and accompany their mom and dad in joining their lives in marriage. And then the girls toasted for a wonderful day and went on to the Northampton Valley County Club!
And flower girls have to quench their thirst with iced tea 🙂
The veil was put on by i-can-do-all bridesmaid who was amazing at nail polishing, make up techniques and hair preparation. Now it was a veil time. And one of the most touching wedding moments of the day for me was when Kathryn and Eddie’s son Dominique saw Kathryn for the first time. He loved how his mommy looked and kept giving her hugs!

And then it was time to Eddie to see his beautiful bride! And we made it work just before the rain started pouring down like crazy! Eddie loved the way his bride looked and after the first look we had a few moment for some wedding portraits for Kathryn and Eddie. Their outfits were stylish an stunning and their love for each other was visible from miles away!A photo through a golf cart – very appropriate for the Golf Course wedding :).And Dominique wanted to hang out with everyone so we got a few extra photos of him.A gorgeous bridal party. I loved how bridesmaids champagne dresses complimented gray suits of the groomsmen. The the purple and burgundy flowers with a pop of white stood out so well and made the bridal party look even more festive. And then it started raining…..And then it poured down.
Northampton Valley Country Club Rainy Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was moved inside so the florist had to start everything from scratch. And I loved this moment of the flower girl looking at all the action going on.And then after 40 minutes of waiting for Kathryn’s granda the action began. The pouring down torrential rain probably held her grandma back and Kathryn really wanted her to be present there. But after the wedding ceremony began, it was simply perfect!Right after the wedding ceremony we spent some time for the family formal right there on the soon-to-be a dance floor of the Northampton Valley County Club 🙂And look at this good-looking family!!!!

And finally it was time for fun! The table settings at Northampton Valley Country Club were simply perfect. The uplighting made everything look warm and happy. The golden touches in wedding details looked stunning. And black and white feather centerpieces looked super high end!The wedding cake was decorated with succulents and a few peacock feathers. The cake topper was a custom letter covered in pearl beads and peacock feathers. The first dance opened up the floor to parent dancing and a LOT more fun!
Night Time Photos at Northampton Valley Country Club
We were able to sneak out for a few night time portraits for Kathryn and Eddie. I loved Northampton Valley Country Club warm lights outside so we incorporated them. And I am not sure but this might be my favorite photo of the day. Again with Dominique :). When my second photographer was setting up a shot and made Kathryn and Eddie kiss, this little guy was just sitting there and staring in awe at his mom and dad.And then his older sister joined him. So cute!!!And here it was. The wedding day was complete! Kathryn and Eddie were married. The family was excited. The rain stopped and hopefully the happy starts will be shinning brightly on these two for the rest of their lives together! God bless you guys! I am so happy I was a part of their Big day!
