Caitlin and Josh met while still being in high school together but they never talked. Only later on when when being in college they officially met through a mutual friend and started dating even later. In January 2016 they went to NYC to see a Broadway show. That became the day when Josh has proposed and the wedding planning has begun! The day was set to this beautiful day in May! Caitlin’s light pink plans perfectly coordinated with the nature that produced beautiful pink blooms everywhere we went. And not only the backgrounds were perfect, the weather was close to perfect too! We met at Rowan University for Caitlin and Josh’s first look and some portraits and then Masso’s Catering was the spot for all the rest of the celebrations for that day. The closest family and friends shared their beautifully special day. There were LOTS of laughter and tears and it was truly a pleasure witnessing the whole day unfold.
Bride and groom’s getting ready
Caitlin was getting ready at her parents’ home. Josh was getting ready at his dad’s home. Such a common and cozy places for both of them intertwined with lots of memories and great times. Pretty and meaningful details, dear people, high emotions were all photographed on that morning.
Can you tell that Caitlin loves pink :)?
Now as both Caitlin and Josh were ready, we headed to Rowan University so they can see each other for the first time.
1st look and wedding portraits at Rowan University
When I greeted Josh he was so calm and excited that I never expected tears from him. However, the moment he saw Caitlin he started crying. And well, Caitlin cried too. I know that tears are not the definition of love or not love but merely the expression of emotion for some people, but yet, it was so beautiful and I loved that moment so much!
And then we walked about Rowan campus and grabbed a few portraits of these two beautiful people!
Now we were ready to head to Masso’s for some family photos and then ceremony and reception!
Wedding Ceremony at Masso’s Catering
Here we were just a few moments before Caitlin and Josh would become husband and wife. We took care of their family photos and it was so sweet. There were so many unscripted sweet moments with their parents. I loved it! And then the ceremony! The amount of tears and laughter that has happened there definitely exceeded my average wedding. My heart was happy! And the guests loved it too :). My favorite moment of Caitlin and Josh during their ceremony was when Josh had to borrow Caitlin’s napkin to wipe off his tears and asked her is she was sure she wanted to marry him. Typing this does make it sound as beautiful and funny as it was on a wedding day but it sounds so good in my memories that I will remember it for a very long time!
And now they are married!!!
Wedding Reception at Masso’s Catering
The reception took place at the cabin. Beautiful, woodsy, warm and cozy feeling is what you get when you enter the room. The buzzing of the guests enjoying drinks and food and each other is the best sounds for my ears. Everything was beautifully decorated with rustic details. The party was amazing and Caitlin and Josh were so well celebrated!
Caitlin and Josh’s wedding day was so beautiful and it was such an honor to be a part of it! So many beautiful and special moments I got to be a part of! Congratulations you guys and God bless you!
