Jessica and George met just a few years ago but these quick years showed that they have similar tastes, interests, values and that they would love to go along side each other through life. George is Russian but it’s Jessica’s style, manners and wedding planning choices made me think that she is a Russian princess! She wedding dress was so beautiful!!! Traditional, 3/4 sleeves with lots of lace made her looks so stunning!!! And her veil!!!!! Wow! Well, I love veils but Jessica’s veil topped them all! She absolutely looked magical! Well, George looked pretty good too but it was his bride who drew all the eyes to her. Another reason why I say that her wedding planning choices were more of a Russian princes, is because they had a horse carriage to bring them to the ceremony location and I thought it was the funnest thing! Jessica and her mom and sister got ready at the Penn’s View Inn hotel. George and Jessica also had their 1st look there as well. Then the carriage picked them up and brought to the Magnolia Garden for their intimate wedding ceremony. Their wedding portraits were done at the 18th Century Garden and a few photos at the 2nd Bank of US. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect weather and the evening turned out just lovely! Check out those wonderful wedding moments and read on their wedding story.
Getting ready and first look at Penn’s View Inn
I have arrived just for the last few moments for the Jessica to get ready. Last touches of make up, putting on the dress and here she was – the most stunning bride ready to marry her man! George was super excited to see his bride and yes, his reaction was so wonderful after seeing her! Check those photos out! And I also got a photo of my ‘bucket list’ – a horse in the foreground photo :). Thanks to Jessica’s wonderful planning, they had a horse and a carriage bringing them to the ceremony location, so we seized the opportunity to get the photo of them with the horse.
And here they were – ready to get married!
Magnolia Park in Philadelphia Intimate Wedding Ceremony
Just as these wonderful bride and groom were arriving the the Magnolia Garden for their wedding ceremony, their closest family and friends were there waiting to them. The ceremony was short and meaningful. The vows were said. The promises exchanged and now they were married! We grabbed just a few family photos because the rest of them will done next week during the wedding reception. And for now we headed off to the 18th century Garden for their wedding portraits.
I loved taking walking photos of Jessica and George because of the gorgeous flowy dress. Especially with a little bit of wind the photos looked extra dynamic!
18th Century Garden in Philadelphia Wedding Portraits
Jessica really wanted to get married at the 18th century garden but the rules are that it is not allowed. So they settled for just having their wedding portraits done there. And oh, how I approved this choice! 18th century Garden is not big at all but the landscape design, the materials that were used, the greenery and the whole look is SO beautiful. I loved being there and photographing these newlyweds. And because Magnolia Park and 18th Century Garden is so close to each other we just walked there. And the whole family followed up because the restaurant where they were heading was on the same path. And I just love this photo of George’s parents walking together too :).
Look at that veil <3!!!!! Jessica wore her grandmother’s ring on her fingers and had her grandfather’s pocket watch on her wedding bouquet. So special! Because it was very windy that day the veil was getting out of control once in a while :). But George has found a way to tame it! And yes, more wind and more veil and more of fun wedding moments! And this photo totally looks like something from 1920s. I loved how Jessica and George are together <3!
2nd Bank of American in Philadelphia Wedding Photos
And 2nd Bank of the US is just around the corner as well, so we stopped there for just a few photos before I let them go and enjoy the dinner with their families! This gorgeous backdrop totally worked for this gorgeous couple! I am so honored to be a park of this intimate celebration and even more excited for their wedding reception at the nursery farm next week, Meeting Jessica and George and their families in person makes me happy that I will spend even more time with them!!!
Say your congrats to them!!!
