This styled shoot was almost 2 years in the making and finally came true! It all started with plans during the pandemic and then finally we were here in August of 2021. The goal of the shoot was to create some dreamy Historic Strawberry Mansion wedding photos inspiration. Garden feels, fresh color, interesting textures and of course all the romance we can get. The amazing team (all linked below) worked hard to put this all together and I could not have imagined it coming together better than it did! Well, maybe I could haha. It did start raining by the end of the shoot. I wouldn’t plan for rain for an outdoor styled shoot but it all worked out in the end and it all looks more beautiful and romantic than I expected. The wonderful thing with Historic Strawberry Mansion is that it does have a beautiful white tent that they regularly use for weddings so that was definitely our option too. We did without it and I love how the fully outdoor photos look!
The bridal bouquet, the table centerpieces and the ceremony arch were created out of a mixture of summer flowers. They were white, pink, peach, salmon, dusty rose, orange, light purple and any other yummy shade you can come up with. Every single flower looked juicy, so fresh and SOOO pretty!
The wedding cake came in the same delicious color pallet with some sugar coated strawberries, sugar flowers and in 6 impressive tiers. The icing was all hand painted and hand carved. I have never seen a prettier cake! And macaroons! I know they are pretty! I know they are in style for wedding dessert tables and also for any other party! But these ones were not only pretty and a stylish addition to these wedding photos! These were heavenly! I have never tasted a tastier macaroon in my life!!!! And how do I know? Because after the shoot the team (and I of course) got to eat them all!
The rentals (the chairs, plates, glasses, silverware) all created such a beautiful high end and at the same time relaxed and cozy look. The table setting reminded me of a destination wedding in Italy even though I have never done one. The tones, the quality of the materials and the textures were all so pleasant to look at and touch! And talking of textures, now looking at our beautiful model and bride Noel. She wore 2 different looks. One was lacy, with puffy off the shoulder sleeves that was very garden like and so perfect for an outdoor wedding! The second look was a sleek strapless gown. I thought it would be perfect for any wedding style! And that huge bow in the back of it was for sure a show stopper!
I hope you enjoy this wedding inspiration and can incorporate some of the details and ideas for your wedding!
