Here is a small photo reportage of what family life looks like with almost a 2-year old :). The world is centered around him and parents’ and siblings’ attention are glued to him. I have forgotten already what it feels like to have a boy of that age, but I guess I will remember it soon enough. In one year to be exactly when my Michael will be Ethan’s age :). There were some fun moments and short moments when he actually acknowledged me and my camera but for the most part Ethan wanted to explore and run around and probably get warm. Yes, it was a very cold day for a family photo session but Vika and the family were brave enough and toughed it out. I couldn’t be happier though to record their family in this season with their lovely children and 2 of them – in love and caring for each other despite all the family responsibilities and a very busy season of their life.
We met at the Historic Smithville Mansion on this November day. It was cold and windy but I guess the wind made some moments even better than they could have been. Everyone wore knitted sweaters that looked SO GOOD together. Chris and Ethan wore jeans, and Vika and Elliana wore light pink bottoms – so beautifully feminine! They looked so perfect together but it’s their family and how they are together was the most attractive! It was so wonderful to see how Elliana loves her little brother and on a multiple occasions she was trying to hug and comfort him when he had enough of my photos :). I appreciated this little girl so much! What a beautiful soul Vika and Chris are growing! And Ethan – oh a little boy – the energy, the determination! You will go far, my little friend!
It was such an honor to photograph this beautiful family and capture only a fraction of the beauty within that family. God bless you guys!!!!
I know, buddy! Enough of those pictures already!!!! But daddy’s kiss will make it all better!
