Meet Jamie and Steve’s family! I feel like if me and my husband would have another child, this would end up being our family :). Boys! Strong, smart, kind but most importantly ready to listen to their mom. If mom says ‘pink and blue’, pink and blue it is! Everyone looked so sharp individually and so good as a group for their family photo session! A little pop of yellow sunflower didn’t match the color scheme but in a long run we are here on earth not to make everything look perfect in photos, but to make perfect memories. That family member represented by the sunflower will be treasured in the photos no matter what everyone else is wearing. And Tucker! The most energetic family member did amazing for all the photos. I haven’t seen a dog doing this good for the posed photos and for a 1-year old, I was incredibly impressed!
The occasion for this family photo session was because they will be moving away and wanted to record these few last moments of the whole family together in NJ. We first met at their family home to grab just a few photos in a space that is so dear to the family. Then we headed out to Historic Smithville Park . Despite rain and our inability to get to a planned spot, we made it work and got some wonderful family portraits. I hope Jamie and Steve and the family get a wonderful start in their new home with everything new and get there just as comfortable (if not more) than they were here in NJ.
