Michelle and Mark’s Chauncey Hotel wedding is the one I could photograph every weekend, every year, all year long for the rest of my life haha! Highly organized, sweet, stylish, grace filled and so so lovely both of them were! Not only have they planned a GORGEOUS wedding but it was also so beautiful and meaningful in everything that transpired throughout the day. From the coziest home breakfast and prayer with Michelle’s mom’s wedding stories, to the beautiful ceremony message, to the most fun and heartfelt speeches during the reception, every single moment of that day felt so right! And as you will be scrolling through these Chauncey Hotel and Laurie House wedding photos I am confident that you will see the reflection of all of that!
Okay, so to start with bridesmaids breakfast at home! I have witnessed a few (and not enough) home celebratory breakfasts. I think if you are getting ready at your or your parents’ home it should be a must to do! It feels so cozy and so friendly to share a prayer and a meal at the beginning of the day. Talking over the past weddings or today’s wedding plans is a perfect topic of the conversation for everyone to get on the same wave and also get excited for the beauty of today! The simplest breakfast meal served in pretty china and glasses will be remembered for a long time! And after the meal was completed the girls got dressed in their prettiest dresses and the day had begun (pun not intended if you know what I am talking about here hehe). Michelle and Mark had their first look, bride and groom and then bridal party portraits. We also took care of the family photos and then it was time for the last minute ceremony preparations and refreshment before Michelle and Mark actually got married! The ceremony was outside on this most perfect September day. I know indoor ceremonies with a controlled climate are wonderful, but when the weather is nice, there is nothing more that makes me happier for the ceremony photos than being outdoors with the sunset light in the background. I am sure you will appreciate the photos!
And now as these lovely bride and groom were now married it was time for the celebration!!! We snuck away for a few extra minutes of portraits during this beautiful golden hour. And it was PARTY!!!! Beautiful dances, speeches and of course all the guests having an amazing time are all captured! While the girls had breakfast I was photographying Michelle’s details. And seriously, it was so nice to witness them having such a nice start of the day!
And here it was the time for the bride and groom to see each other during the first look.
How gorgeous are these two together?!!!!
And both Michelle’s and Mark’s moms dresses were SOOOO beautiful!! I loved them so so much!
After sneaking in a few sunset photos we joined the outdoor cocktail hour! So nice to enjoy fresh air and delicious food in the company of your favorite people in the entire world!
