Megan and Mark planned their February wedding at Bogey’s in Sewell, NJ and instead it felt like we got a beautiful April day! Instead of freezing snowy day as I would expect to have in february we got to celebrate these 2 with an outdoor ceremony in 53 degrees weather! Yes, it felt fresh and cool but it is such a rare occasion to be able to not freeze in February that I simply rejoiced! Megan wore the most beautiful princess-like lacy flowy dress with thin straps. She completed her look with a lace veil and sparkly shoes, just like a real princess! Mark looked super sharp in his black tux! Megan’s flowers were bright and beautiful! It was a mix of evergreens and purple irises, pink roses and sweet peas and burgundy tulips. Such a unique and beautiful combination. Not only Megan got a pretty bouquet but also Bogey’s outdoor ceremony arch AND the indoor reception chandelier got a makeover! The arch was covered with beautiful vines that created a gorgeous garden feel. The chandeliers in the wedding reception space are already beautiful and they transformed into an even prettier version of themselves also intertwined with the evergreen vines. The reception tables had silky scarves on them with evergreen branches, flowers and candles. Everything looked so romantic and charming. Megan had a 1st look with her dad first. She is the last of his 3 daughters to marry so I am sure it was so special for him to see Megan in her dress! Megan also gave him a tie with a special message embroidered on the inside of it.
The moms were supposed to light the candles for the unity candle ceremony but the lighters wouldn’t work haha! I LOVED their reaction of laughter and lighthearteness!
Megan and Mark had the cutest wedding cake!!! Megan loves running and Mark loves tennis! So here you go! haha! And the guests got delicious donuts and pasteries!
Megan’s granpa is 100 years old! He still spent all his time by the dance floor watching everyone dance and I personally witnessed him dancing on the floor 4 times! So at minimum that’s what he did during the party!!! I hope I am him when I grow up!
These night time photos were complitely not planned! Megan and Marked sneaked outside to cool down for a minute and I was so glad I saw them! I snapped a few quick photos to wrap up the day! It was SUCH a lovely celebration of their love!
