It all has started with a mutual friends’ wedding and an accidental interaction. The ‘girl in a green dress’ asked Eric to take a picture of her and her girlfriends on which he replied – ‘If you pay me $20 bucks’. It was a running joke for all these dating years and only on the wedding day Eric got paid. And you should see that gift! It was a picture frame with the photo he took, $20 folded into heart shape and a message saying ‘The best $20 I have ever spent’. How cute and thoughtful it is! Well, just as cute and as thoughtful these 2 wonderful people are! Two beautiful and incredibly fun souls got married on an unexpectedly hot day! With the summer being so mild it was quiet a surprise to us to have 90 degree sunny weather, but we all agreed that sunny is easier than rainy, so we were happy :). Both Sara and Eric got ready at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, and their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the American Swedish Historical Museum. The Loews Hotel impressed me with it’s modern look and lots of natural light. And, wow, the Museum was simply stunning! Both the inside and the outside was incredible – lots of history intertwined with beautiful architecture that looked more like Italy that US. And their wedding decor was so gorgeous as well. Andi from Forever Love Events coordinated everything perfectly. The flowers from Ann’s Garden were simply amazing. The cake that Sara’s mom made was not only gorgeously impressive but also delicious! The family and friends had an immense amounts of fun and most importantly, Sara and Eric got married and got lots of fun doing it! Check out some of the beautiful moments from their special day and say your congrats to them one more time!
Getting ready at Loews Hotel
The day has begun at the Lowes Hotel. Sara, her bridesmaids and both moms were their the enjoy the time together and get ready. Beautiful emerald green details were definitely something I loved! But not only the details were things I loved – the fun times that the girls had, is what I loved even more. Once Sara was in her dress, her dad came to see her, and of course, LOVED the way his daughter looked. Sara’s grandmother’s handkerchief was used on her gorgeous wedding bouquet and she was ready to go! Eric had a pretty fun times too getting ready :).
Look at these good looking people! But it’s not only the looks that are wonderful – their personalities are amazing!
First Look at the Loews Hotel
A lot of Sara and Eric’s dating history and the proposal story were linked to Philadelphia, and this is why they had their wedding in Philly even though a lot of their family and friends (and well, them) had to travel to Philly for this event. Eric proposed in front of the City Hall and Sara really wanted a few photos with the City Hall. They didn’t want to spend too much time travelling to a specific spot for the ‘iconic’ City Hall photo, so we got a little creative, and had the City Hall visible in some of the photos for their first look and a few portraits. Check them out!!!
Now as they saw each other, we traveled to the American Swedish Museum for the rest of the portraits and for the main celebration.
Wedding Photos at the American Swedish Historical Museum
I will start with the photos of Eric and the gift that he got from Sara, and then let’s go and enjoy just some of pretty photos that I took of Sara and Eric and their bridal party! They are way too good together <3!!!!!
After the photos were taken, everyone hid away inside from the heat and got ready for the ceremony to begin!!!
Wedding Ceremony at the American Swedish Historical Museum
Look at the pretty details of the ceremony! And again, the details were pretty, but the moments during their wedding ceremony were even better. I cried during the ceremony! I cried during selecting the images! I cried while editing them! Thanks guys!!!! But seriously, beautiful words were said and not these two are married!
Aren’t these bride and groom awesome!!! I hope they are able to keep and grow this passion toward each other for the many years to come!
Wedding Reception at the American Swedish Historical Museum
Now is the time for celebration!!!! Elegant and stylish details made me SO happy! Look at those photos and see for yourself what a wonderful atmosphere Sara and Eric has planned out and Andi helped them to implement it! Delicious drinks and food, street lights, outdoor games, succulents for favors and again, the main thing – awesome people gathered together to celebrate Sara and Eric. Check out the photos below and see a LOT more tears and laughter and lots of fun dance moves :). And yes!!!! My selfie with Sara and Eric is there too!!! They asked for a photo with me, so I couldn’t resists to include it :D! Beautiful night time photos have happened too and they definitely look like we are in Italy!
THANK YOU SO MUCH, guys for having me there along side of you and trusting me with your memories! It was an honor!
