On a lovely September day I got to photograph a wedding at Camden County Boathouse again. Meg Burke Leidy from Meghan Burke Photography invited me to assist her at one of her clients’ weddings. I hope you enjoy a few moments from Renee and Dwayne’s weeding I captured. It was so great to assist another photographer and get some behind-the-scenes and a slightly different perspectives.
Getting ready for the wedding
I, being a second photographer, got to hang out with Dwayne and his groomsmen and record what was happening there at the home. A few stylish details of groom’s attire got photographed right away, and then there were getting ready moments, Dwayne opening his super awesome wedding gift from Renee and a few moments of guys playing video games :). What else do you think they would do :D?! Once Dwayne was all ready we headed to Camden County Boathouse where Renee and her bridesmaids were scheduled to arrive too. The moment they are going to see each other was so-so close!

Renee arrived at the Camden County Boathouse just a few moment after Dwayne did. It was perfect because she didn’t have to wait for too long and could just come and see her groom! Both, the bride and the groom, looked stunning so it was obvious that they loved the way they looked. Lots of compliments were said and a few kisses were exchanged :). Now it was time for some bride-and-groom and bridal party portraits.
Seeing these 2 people in love made me so-so happy for them. The tender relationship and the care and respect were clearly visible in the way they treated each other. In a few moments the bridal party joined us for a few photos as well. The bridesmaids wore simply stunning sapphire mismatched dresses. They were absolutely gorgeous with each blue dress complimenting their figure and personality. The guys were not bad either wearing their charcoal suits, but the bridesmaids were my favorite :). Sorry, guys! And both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids were equally fun, so the trophy for ‘funness’ would be given to both parties :D.
After the bridal party was dismissed to enjoy themselves, we had some more time for the bride and groom portraits with Renee and Dwayne. We also went on a dock and got a slightly different background for their wedding photos.

The time has come and all the family and guests gathered together to witness the wedding ceremony.

And now they are married!!! So it’s time to celebrate! Renee and Dwayne are both super fun and their family and friends were just as fun so the wedding reception was awesome!!! Check out these gorgeous wedding decorations and dance moves on the dance floor :). But seriously this 4-tier wedding cake decorated with golden edible flowers was simply a baking masterpiece!!!
It was so wonderful to be able to be a part of Renee and Dwayne’s wedding! What a wonderful day it was! Thank you Meg for having me!
