Bride Getting Ready at Washington Crossing Inn
Nora and her bridesmaids were fully getting ready at Washington Crossing Inn. The hair and make up artists came to them and made them so-so pretty. And I think those girls were gorgeous already so a little make up made them simply looking like wedding goddesses. Nora’s dress were gorgeous lace beauty with a lace and beads only top for the shoulders and gorgeous train in the back. Her earrings were simple yet gorgeous too and fit her wedding look perfectly! And here are here are Nora’s bridesmaids finishing up her diy wedding centerpieces. In addition to gorgeous red and white rose and hydrangea centerpieces, there were cute heart shaped red picture frames that held photos of Nora and Tony’s relationship growing closer and leading them to this day. And a few moments of girls helping each other with last minute hairspray to preserve their beautiful wedding hair styles, feeding Nora grapes and steaming a few more spots on their mom’s dresses. In a mean time guys were having a great time too while hanging out at the bar and having some fun pre-wedding conversations :). Tony decided to come upstairs where Nora and her bridesmaids were getting ready and pay them a quick visit to just say ‘hi’. It was unplanned and that’s why so sweet. He just wanted to check in :). How romantic is that?! And then it was time for everyone to get into their perfect burgundy bridesmaids dresses and then for Nora to get into her beautiful wedding dress. Her sisters helped her out with everything. And here she was – a gorgeous glowy happy bride of Washington Crossing Inn! Nora is a smart bride and she had two pairs of shoes. One being golden glittery flats, and a second pair of high heeled beauties. Considering that it was cold and rainy she opted in for flats for her first look and bridal portraits that took place outside the Washington Crossing inn.
First Look at Washington Crossing Inn
And here they were, all ready to see each other! Washington Crossing Inn was so extremely thoughtful that they keep umbrellas in case it rains so Nora and Laurel were able to grab those and bravely navigate through a few puddles and some rain.
Tony was super happy and excited to see his bride! And here is was! So close!!! And there were only a few seconds left before he would see her. And the moment was really fun. Both, Nora and Tony were super happy to see each other. They loved each other’s outfits, of course, and they were ready to have some wedding photos done!!!
Wedding Portraits at Washington Crossing Inn
And here we go. We started of with some lovely, happy and romantic photos. Can you see rain drops on Tony’s shoulders? It kept starting and stopping to rain so some of the photos have umbrellas in them and some don’t. And sometimes even when it was raining, Nora was brave enough to not use an umbrella and just enjoy their moments together. I wanted to grab a detail shot of bride and groom’s shoes and the moments couldn’t get any more perfect. There was a big yellow maple leaf stuck to Tony’s shoe. I am sure rain drops helped out with stickiness and that leaf created a perfect story of the fall rainy wedding at Washington Crossing Inn :). The backdrops for Nora and Tony’s photos were pretty perfect! Looks at the gorgeous trees and river and some pretty architecture.
And then the bridal party joined us for photos. It took us a little bit of time to sort out bouquets and umbrellas, but once we got organized we were ready to go. Look at how perfect the gorgeous red bridesmaids dresses match the fall foliage! I am simply in love with these photos and so happy for Nora and Tony to have such beautiful location to get married at.
And we even got some sun for the rainy wedding :). This photo was a special request from Nora and Tony. Tony’s uncle got married at Washington Crossing Inn a few years back and their wedding photographer got a photo of them in this spot. Nora and Tony loved that photo and the wanted a copy of themselves there :). And here you go – pretty, simply, classy!
Wedding Ceremony at Washington Crossing Inn
After the family portraits and Nora and Tony’s photos, everyone was ready for them to finally marry each other :). Thank God it totally stopped raining so they had their wedding ceremony just like they envisioned it – outside. It was a little chilly, but the love definitely kept everyone warm. Nora’s dad walked her down the isle and entrusted her into Tony’s arms for the rest of her life. Lots of sweet and emotional moments happened during the ceremony.
And here they were – married!!!!
We grabbed a few extended family photos right after the ceremony and when everyone went in for a cocktail hour, we had a few more minutes for the pictures for the bride and groom.
The lights at Washington Crossing Inn at dusk were pretty much my favorite. So magical and romantic.
Wedding Reception at Washington Crossing Inn
And finally it was time to party! Beautiful white and red decorations compliments Washington Crossing Inn designs very well. Nora and Tony were now introduced as a husband and wife. For the rest of night…and well, life they have these wonderful new titles. The toasts revealed a few fun facts about Nora and Tony. Everyone definitely enjoyed listening to funny and emotional speeches and get an inside information about these newlyweds.
The cake cutting went well. The cake eating – not so much :D. I guess some of the cake made it into their mouths. The rest temporarily decorate Nora and Tony’s faces :). And once the formalities were over, real fun began. I am not saying at all that formalities were not fun. They were super fun!!! But Nora and Tony’s families and friends were as fun as bride and groom and everything kind of went to a new level of fun 🙂
It definitely was an amazing wedding day. Nora and Tony were super fun and laid back about the rain. Their families were so wonderful to work with and photograph. And Washington Crossing Inn staff were impeccable as usual. I couldn’t be happier to go home and start editing these great wedding memories! Thank you so much Nora and Tony for trusting me with your wedding moments!
