The day has started at Christina’s home with hair and make up appointment. While she was getting even prettier than she normally is, I photographed her gorgeous wedding details. Wedding dress, jewelry, shoes and wedding bouquet were all so beautiful! And the funnest part of it was that Christina had the most fun turquoise door mat in her backyard and I used it as a backdrop for some of her details, and that was on of the colors of her wedding!!! So those detail shots blend into the gallery as if they were so carefully planned out by me, your servant Philadelphia wedding photographer. The ceremony took place at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy, NJ. Being so close to the water definitely added even more tropical feeling to the wedding. So the turquoise and orange were so perfect for this wedding! The reception took place at the amazing Ciro’s Ristorante, in Monroe Township, NJ. Small, cozy, with delicious food and the most excellent service, we could not ask for anything better! Check out those photos below of what a beautiful job the owner’s wife did creating the mood of the restaurant, and what a wonderful job Christina and Nick did with they DIY wedding!
Bride’s Getting Ready Photos
So here we go with the beginning of the day. I got a few very standard getting ready photos and then tried something a little bit more different. Christina was sitting in front of the window, so I lit her with a off-camera flash. So we have a wedding dress and a bride getting her make-up ready.
What a fun set of colors – turquoise, orange, red and white bride’s wedding bouquet. A few small touches and Christina was all ready! She read the love message from her beloved. Shed a few tears and the day began!!!
Groom’s getting ready photos
Nick was getting ready at his parents home and he was as anxious to start the day as Christina was.
Wedding Ceremony at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park
And here we were at the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy, NJ to witness the wedding vows of these 2 wonderful people!
Wedding Portraits at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park
After the wedding ceremony we had some time for some family portraits and Christina and Nick’s bride and groom portraits. Loving, happy and a lot more relaxed, they definitely had a lot of fun together! And look at this happiest color scheme for the wedding. It totally looked like a tropical wedding!
Wedding Reception at Ciro’s Ristorante Italiano
And here we have arrived at the Ciro’s Ristorante! Super stylishly done in a beautiful tradition Italian style. Warm colors, high quality materials and beautiful finishes. And Christina and Nick’s wedding decor perfectly fit into this beautiful space. Handmade wooden place cards, rustic lavender wedding cake, hand carved and burned wooden signs and cake topper. All of it done by bride and groom!
And then the fun began! Now Christina and Nick were introduced into the wedding reception! And first dance was beautiful! After the wedding dance we snuck out outside and grabbed a few more portraits of these love-birds.
And a few portraits inside the gorgeous Ciro’s. And we partied-partied-partied for a very long time!!!!
Congratulations, Christina and Nick! God bless you!
