Chrissy and Bill are engaged! Military meets Finance, falls in loves and never wants to leave this girl :). Both fun, passionate and loving, Chrissy and Bill are simply are perfect couple to get married! And I, being a New Jersey wedding photographer, am extremely excited to be a part of their wedding that will take place in Sterling Ballroom. But for now, I must share their engagement photos that we captured in Lambertville, NJ.
See, Chrissy grew up in Lambertville and those few spot that you are going to see in the photo are very dear to her heart. You know how childhood memories make everything so much better. However, I didn’t even to have childhood memories in Lambertville to fall in love with this little town! Cozy, clean and full of life, Lambertville offered us a perfect weather with the most perfect sunset for engagement photos for Chrissy and Billy! Check them out!
We have started off very close to Lambertville Station Inn – the cutest restaurant right next to the old train tracks. It gave the whole place such a warm and welcoming vibe! And Lambertville Station Inn actually holds weddings too so if you are ever getting married there, let me know ;). I kind of fell in love with Lambertville! And let me stop talking and show you off some lovely lovies!
If you see, Chrissy and Billy are standing right next to old train tracks! So much history in this place!
And can you tell we had the best kind of light! The sunset was so bright and happy and made Chrissy and Billy’s engagement photos in Lambertville so perfectly bright and happy. Here I used my creative photography skills :). Look at the pretty reflection of this even prettier couple. Then we saw a beautiful brick wall with ivy growing all over it. It was just a plain residential building and for the photo it looked for beautiful! And here I went across the river to get a further away photo with that gorgeous brick wall covered in ivy.And as in every life situation there are interruptions and things don’t go according to plan. There were so many bicyclists that we even got some in their engagement photos. But I feel like that interruption enhanced the photo and made it slightly more dynamic and fun :).And because Billy is serving in the military, Chrissy really wanted to incorporate an American flag into the photoshoot in some way. They wanted a photo of them kissing behind the flag but it was a little too windy, so the flag started flying up. I actually love this photo than their original idea! And here is the result of the photo that they wanted – a backlit kiss behind the American flag. Pretty good too :).And then we left downtown Lambertville and headed to Goat Hill Overlook – an amazing nature spot with huge trees and astonishing view! One of the trees just fell down probably because of the recent rain storm. Well, it made a perfect spot for some cute engagement photos. I made Chrissy and Billy sit on it and enjoy each other :).
The sunset colors were pretty gorgeous for these engagement photos on Goat Hill Overlook because we could see the sun so well! And we made it to the top of the Goat Hill Overlook and thoroughly enjoyed the view of the Delaware River. And once the sun fully set down, we got a few night time photos. I feel like these will give Chrissy and Billy’s engagement gallery a nice variety too!Well, we totally had fun on this beautiful day for Lamberville engagement session. Super excited for Chrissy and Billy’s Sterling Ballroom wedding! I think it will be a blast and the photos will turn out even better!
