Nicolle and Matt met through Nicolle sister and you know that when your sister is setting up the relationship, it’s probably a good one. It didn’t take long before these two wonderful people got serious about each, and now 2 years later they are planning a wedding. We met at the Historic Smithville Mansion to record the first moments of them being engaged during this wonderful Christmas season. Everything was so beautifully decorated at Smithville but as it was Nicolle and Matt who brought the most cheer into that day and place. Both loving and bubbly they just enjoyed being together and wonderful around pretty mansion. Both of them definitely enjoyed the rustic feel of the property and yes, they are planning a wedding that is going to be somewhere rustic as well. Well, enough talking and check out some of the pretty moment from their cold engagement session :).
Poor Nicolle got dripped on!!!! They were such troopers and even took their coats off for a few photos and right at that moment, cold wet snow fell on Nicolle!
And I was looking for a spot for a ring shot and was saw a small pine tree with some snow on it. I was excited for the snow and Nicolle was excited for red robins. It is her favorite bird so it was perfect that we ended up at that little tree.
