Michelle and Matt met kind of online and kind of through a mutual friend. The mutual friend was on the photo that was used online and that all started the conversation. Matt fell in love with Michelle from first sight and I see how it could happen. Not only beautiful on the outside, Michelle is such a pleasant person with a wonderful sense of humor. And well, I can say exactly the same words about Matt. Matt proposed to Michelle right after they finished decorated their Christmas tree. So romantic! And the wedding planning has begun! Overbrook Golf Club was a special place for Michelle. Her sister got married there 6 years before her and they absolutely loved everything about their wedding. It’s wonderful that it was an easy decision for them and I absolutely loved their choice. The property was absolutely gorgeous and it became such a perfect backdrop for such wonderful wedding couple! And well, the service and the atmosphere was wonderful as well so I can see how Michelle wanted to have her celebration at such a great place! The day ended up being the most perfect day! The sun was shining; the temperature was perfect; everything was going so perfectly! I couldn’t have wished for a better day! Getting ready at Overbrook Golf Club
Michelle and all the girls were getting ready at the Overbrook Golf Club. The rooms were big and filled with light! So so pretty! The girls were getting their hair and make up done by a wonderful team from Something You. Relaxed and happy atmosphere filled the room. Michelle’s dress was hanging in a separate room and just look at this gorgeousness!!!! Her veil and jewelry was amazing too! Michelle didn’t let me to photograph her shoes because she said – they were just flats, but when I saw them they were so PRETTY! There will be one photo of them in her gallery though :). Michelle gorgeous necklace got tangled up so you will see a few people working on it. I saw 3 people having their hands on it. Not sure who ended up succeeding at the task but I believe it’s the efforts of all of them did the trick. Michelle’s mom was the kind of person I LOVE – happy, upbeat and with lots of happy energy. Guess who was the person dancing during the getting ready time :). Well, she didn’t stop until the end of the night too. She celebrated well! Michelle’s cutest niece was a flower girl. I was simply in love with that little munchkin! Check out all the getting ready moments below and see the guys photos later too.
The guys had a pretty good morning as well. Some fun, some touching moments of parents joining them and just some good times preparing for such important event in Matt’s life.
Now both Matt and Michelle and families were all ready for the ceremony!
Wedding Ceremony at Saint Dorothy Church
We all gathered together at the Saint Dorothy Church for a beautiful Catholic ceremony for these bride and groom. The ceremony was not only beautiful but I have also learned that Father Michael Murphy has some wonderful sense of humor. Everyone truly enjoyed the service and at the end Michelle and Matt walked out of the church as a husband and wife.
Wedding Portraits at Overbrook Golf Club
Now we have arrived at the Overbrook Golf Club and it was time for the bridal party photos and the bride and groom photos. What a wonderful group of people these guys were!!!! So much fun, so much great emotions! The bridesmaids wore identical plum dresses from Irini’s and looked stunning! The groomsmen all look sharp as well in their tuxes from Sagets. But again it’s not the looks that draw me to this crowd, but their lovely personalities! Thank you guys for being so cool! And yes, the Overbrook Golf Club is indeed a great place for wedding photos!
The bridal party was done with the photos and they went inside to enjoy some champagne and relaxing time, and Michelle and Matt spent just a few more moments outside for their wedding photos. Oh, how much I loved the way they love each other. Such a wonderful people they are! We wondered around the property for a little bit and explored pretty corners and enjoyed the beautiful landscapes. But again it’s the way Michelle and Matt are together that was the most lovely to me <3.
And yes, and Matt got to wear Michelle’s gorgeous veil because of how windy it was :).
And they ran back to the their cocktail hour and were excited to now celebrate with family and friends!
Wedding Reception at Overbrook Golf Club
The mood, the look and the everything was pretty perfect at the Overbrook Golf Club cocktail hour and the reception. Check out beautiful and fun moments and see that Michelle and Matt were celebrated well! Super fun speeches and LOTS of dancing with amazing music from Chico’s Vibe <3! I really hope to work with this band again just so that I can enjoy their awesome performance!!!
What a lovely day it was!!!! Congratulations Michelle and Matt! I hope you enjoy your honeymoon in Italy but even more so I am sure you will enjoy your life together!!! God bless you!
