Jess and George got officially married last week in an intimate wedding ceremony in Magnolia Garden in Philadelphia and it was truly a beautiful event. Check out those pretty moments here! And today we were gathered together to officially celebrate these two wonderful people. If you are not married you wouldn’t know, but all brides and grooms go through some intense emotions on the morning of the wedding. Well, today was not the case, and everyone got to fully enjoy the celebration without being nervous about speaking in front of the 100 people in addition to making the most important step in your life like committing your life to this one awesome person in front of you :). Jessica and all her bridesmaids had a lovely and fun moments becoming even prettier than they already were. Professional hair and make up made them all look simply stunning. And George and his groomsmen were having a little too much fun from what I heard. Whiskey for breakfast I guess works for real Russian men :). But in all seriousness, I met George and he was more relaxed and in a pretty playful mood, so the day has started off on a good note. And it not only has started on a good note, but the whole day went pretty much perfect – the weather was gorgeous, the reception location was AMAZING, the people that came to celebrate were so warm and wonderful. Jessica’s mom owns a whole sale plant nursery and I couldn’t be happier with their decision to host this wedding celebration there. They have converted one of the larger green houses into a reception room and you will be stunned at how gorgeous it all looked!!! There are few wedding venues that look this awesome! I really hope they decide to really turn in into a business and make their nursery into also a wedding venue. There is lots of natural light, literally all the green decorations and favors, fresh air and magical atmosphere in the heart of South Jersey. You must scroll all the way to the end and see all the wonderful moments from the day! The food was a combination of American and Russian dishes, and the dessert was donuts, Russian cakes, fruit and smores. Well, enough of me chatting! Check out those few photos from their wedding celebration that I am sharing here and read a few more thoughts and emotions I had throughout the day!
Getting Ready at the Marriot Mt Laurel
Jessica wore a different dress for her wedding reception and looked stunning again! Her look was so different from last week and so gorgeous again! She looked so modern and edgy and I loved it! Well, I loved it just as much as I loved her look last week :). And Kathy, the make up artist, did an amazing job implementing what Jess has envisioned.
George and his groomsmen were getting themselves ready too and despite some alcohol involved they still got ready quicker than the girls :). We didn’t have an official first look planned because they did see each other last week, but Jessica wore a new dress so I thought it would be wonderful to set one up. Well, George turned around accidentally when we were not fully ready so he was Jess a little too early, and this is both of t heir reactions :D!!!! Love it! Well, and of course they loved how both of them looked, and how could they not, right?!
A kiss for the road and we departed to go to the farm.
Bride and Groom Portraits at the Farm
When we arrived at the farm, it took us a few moments to get settled in and to start the photos – look at all these cute distractions we had to overcome! And when we have started the photos, I was fully in love with the location – gorgeous cool isles of greenhouses, woods and the perfect sunlight that God sent us!
And as Jess and George were walking away, their dog was sitting and watching them <3! So cute! Look at this photo!!!! Not my normal style because this is not a normal weather. Super bright fun and the most gorgeous clouds don’t happen all that often in a spot that can show them off so well! Bride’s bouquet was simply gorgeous as well, and it was her mom who made these. She bought the flowers and arranged them herself. What a talented lady!
And here we tried getting a photo with Jess and George’s dog and there was a little bit of miscommunication between us and the dog :). But we did get a few cute photos too :). Once the bridal party has joined us, we got a few photos of everyone together. Gorgeous mismatched dresses for the girls were so beautiful but it’s their love to each other that was the most attractive.
When the guys have joined us, that’s when all the fun has begun! I got 1 formal photo of them, and the rest were just fun! They CRIED because of how much the laughed!
Well, I appreciated the fun, but I love romantic side of weddings too, so here you go – a few more bride and groom photos before the reception begins!
And yes, those cuties are theirs! And I am pretty sure George got licked that’s why his face is this way :D!
Wedding Reception at the Farm
And now to the reception! Check out those gorgeous and stylish decorations! I was simply in love with everything! These ladies that were planning the wedding have some serious style! Jessica put up the street lights herself and this diy-wedding totally looked like it belongs to a magazine spread!
The first dance was beautiful, the speeches were fun! And despite best man’s and maid-of-honor’s wonderful words, it was the groom’s mom’s speech that touched everyone. Sweet words and wonderful wishes were said the the party has begun! George’s sister sang a song and everyone definitely enjoyed the performance but most of all I loved how her husband recorded her on video from the outside of the greenhouse through a window :). And then the party began!!!! Everyone had an awesome time and these 2 wonderful bride and groom were well celebrated! Congratulations Jess and George!!!! I wish you all the best and despite religious indifference from you two, I will still say – God bless you 😀 <3!!!
